Introducing Glazed Earth Atelier
Hello!
Bienvenue to the Atelier and to the first entry of the Glazed Earth’s Journal! A high-end ceramics brand that offers slow-crafted, functional pieces of art.
In a world defined by speed and disposability, a Glazed Earth Atelier stands as a sanctuary of purposeful creation. We a rebellious counterbalance to mass production, offering meticulously crafted pieces that rekindle the appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and the environment.
At Glazed Earth Atelier we have one obsession: creating ceramic pieces that are intentionally crafted, by hand, slowly but surely and lovingly. Each piece is unique and linked to a story and an inspiration coming from nature, food or even texture and colours. We like to think of each piece as a sensory experience that will be different for each person. Whether you are enjoying one of our mugs, cups, vases, or sculptures, we hope that each will allow you to see beyond the utilitarian vessel and reflect on the delightful mini rituals that end up creating our lives.
In addition to our commitment to artisanal excellence, we aim to inspire a deeper connection with the environment and promote conservation, through the material we use and how we give back to the community.
It’s not only about aesthetics and function, but it’s also about impact.
In this journal, you will find short-form articles and blog posts about the world of ceramics, the history of pottery and additional information about my work, my reflections, and my process. We hope to curate a space at the intersection of creativity and knowledge where you will feel comfortable sharing your own journey, asking questions and thinking more intentionally about art.
The art life can be an isolating one and talking about it - its joyful moments, as well as its challenges - make it all worthwhile.
So welcome again and thank you for stopping by!
